Improving Internal Governance, Financial Management and Communications of Selected Lebanese Municipalities
RMF focuses on empowering Local Authorities across Lebanon to implement projects to benefit their communities. RMF is introducing a new era in municipal capacity building and trainings; On-site interventions aiming at the transfer of knowledge, assessments, training on templates, designing of specific deliverables and coaching activities. The interventions will be conducted as small groups of workshops where RMF Senior and junior Municipal Experts are in direct contact with municipal council presidents, members, and staff.
Trainings are implemented with 38 municipalities across Lebanon. RMF’s intervention focuses on three main municipal component; 1) Organization development and financial management, 2) Strategic planning for local development and 3) Advocacy and Outreach/Communication. The current design of RMF approach to the project implementation relies largely on integrating solutions to the municipal capacity building challenges
