RMF is excited to share the news of our upcoming events this Friday October 21st! Under the project known as “Towards Sustainable Energy Consumption in Select Local Communities of North Lebanon” or SUDeP, funded by the EU, RMF is hosting two events to recognize the work that has been accomplished there.
At the RMF Campus in Mejdlaya, at 3pm, a ceremony will be held to present certificates of completion to attendees of a two-day training session delivered by G.I.Z. an implementing partner of this project, on the topics of Procurement, Monitoring and Evaluation, Measurement and Verification, Energy Management System. These skills increase the capacity and ability of the communities to ensure quality and sustainability of projects in the future!
The second event will begin at 4pm in Ardeh-Zgharta, a ceremony will be held to deliver the project under SUDeP “Retrofitting of Street Lights and Installation of Photovoltaic System in Different Plazas”.
This initiative will see the lighting of the new streetlights for the first time, bringing new and sustainable lighting to the Village of Ardeh. RMF is pleased to announce that speeches will be given by the Mayor of the Municipality of Ardeh, Mr. Habib Lattouf, the Project Coordinator of G.I.Z. Mr. Nacer Hammami, the Executive Director of RMF, Mr. Michel Moawad, and the representative from the Minister of Energy and Water- Vice President of the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation, Mr. Ziad Al-Zein.
